Arctic evenings are full of magic. From fiery sunsets to starry skies, and if you're lucky, the northern lights. 

Whatever the weather, be it clear skies or a snowstorm, there’s no better place to be than in a warm, cozy lapp tent, enjoying crêpes and hot drinks by the fire.

Our evening starts with a short car ride from our office to Sirkkajärvi.

Our picnic spot is on the shore of the lake, with a great view of the northern sky which gives a very good open view of the northern sky to maximise the chances of seeing the auroras if they appear. Once there, your guide will make a warming fire on the frozen lake or in our cozy lapp tent. You can admire the northern sky by the warmth of a campfire. If you're lucky, you can enjoy the starry sky and the Northern Lights. While sitting next to the warming fire, you can roast yourself a sausage, enjoy delicious crêpes and take a cup of hot drink (coffee, berry juice, tea).

From March, the nights get brighter every day, so that beautiful sunsets can be admired.

Please note that the northern lights are a natural phenomenon, so there is no guarantee that they will appear. This makes the experience even more exciting! The sunset on the lake and the wonderful colors of autumn is a unique experience in any case.
