Safari to Kumputunturi fell by snowmobile (100km)

Would you like a slightly longer tour with changing scenery, away from the hustle into the solitude of the Lappish winter ?

Snow-covered trees, snowy hills and forests, frozen swamps: a landscape straight out of a winter fairy tale! This snowmobile safari takes us east to Kumputunturi, the highest mountain in the Kittilä district. The fell is 581 meters high and used to be an observation post for the local fire ranger. The view from Kumputunturi is breathtaking. After we have admired the beautiful scenes we drive down from the fell to a hut where we light fire, make coffee and grill sausages. After coffee break we start the journey back to Levi. We have small breaks in between the driving if necessary.
