This full-day guided experience combines an authentic reindeer farm visit and an afternoon at a local husky kennel, with a lunch break in between. Throughout the day, a professional photographer will capture your best moments and deliver a collection of edited, high-quality photos after the tour.

Morning: Reindeer Farm Visit
Your day begins with a short 35-minute drive from Rovaniemi to a traditional reindeer farm run by a local herder family, who have been practising reindeer husbandry for at least generations. Here, you’ll have the chance to meet these gentle Arctic animals up close, feed them, and learn about their essential role in Lapland’s nature and culture.
During your visit, you’ll hear fascinating stories about reindeer herding, test your skills with a suopunki (lasso used by herders), and enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate with freshly made crepes inside a cozy Lappish kota (wooden hut).
 This authentic experience takes place in small groups, offering a peaceful encounter with reindeer — away from the crowds — and unique, professionally photographed memories you can download and share after the tour.

Midday: Lunch Break (Free Time)
After returning to Rovaniemi, you’ll have some free time for lunch (not included in the price). Feel free to explore local cafés or restaurants in town before the next adventure begins.

Afternoon: Husky Experience
In the afternoon, you’ll visit a local musher family’s husky kennel, where the dogs are treated as part of the family and cared for with deep respect for both the animals and nature. This experience goes far beyond a simple husky ride — it’s a meaningful insight into life with sled dogs.
You’ll meet the friendly huskies, learn about their training and daily routines, and enjoy a 3 km ride as a passenger in a specially designed cart.

Before and after the ride, you’ll have time to pet the dogs, take photos, and relax by the fire with warm drinks and cookies.
