Delphi One Day

Description

Embark on a scenic journey through the fertile plains of Boeotia, visiting the historic towns of Thebes—linked with the tragedy of King Oedipus—Levadia, and the picturesque Arachova (short stop on the way back).

Arrive at Delphi, the center of the Ancient World and the renowned "Omphalos" (Navel of the Earth), whose influence extended far beyond Greece. Nestled on the slopes of Mount Parnassus amidst stunning landscapes, explore the ruins of the Sanctuary of Apollo Pythios. Visit the Treasury of the Athenians, the Temple of Apollo, and the Delphi Museum, home to masterpieces like the bronze Charioteer and the celebrated athlete Aghias.

Enjoy lunch in the modern village of Delphi (if selected) before returning to Athens along the same scenic route.
Note: Guests staying on the coast will depart from the G.O.TOURS terminal around 19:30.
