Winery visit & Tasting in Marsala

Description

Experience the warmth and flavors of Sicily through an unforgettable guided wine tasting that celebrates the island’s most beloved grapes and traditions.
Set in a charming countryside cellar surrounded by vineyards, this 90-minute experience invites you to savor local excellence in every sip and bite.

Your visit begins with a warm welcome from our team, who will introduce you to the philosophy behind the winery — a place where passion, craftsmanship, and Sicilian terroir come together. The tasting takes place in a cozy, accessible space designed to immerse you in an atmosphere of authenticity and conviviality.

The experience unfolds through a curated tasting of three exceptional wines, each representing the essence of Sicily:

  • Cutò Grillo DOC Sicilia 2024 — a bright, aromatic white wine that captures the Mediterranean sun, with notes of citrus, herbs, and a refreshing mineral finish.
  • Cutò Nero d’Avola DOC Sicilia 2023 — the island’s iconic red grape, expressing intensity, soft tannins, and ripe red fruit flavors that embody the Sicilian landscape.
  • Passito di Uve Zibibbo 2021 — a luscious dessert wine with floral and honeyed notes, the perfect way to conclude your tasting journey.

Alongside each glass, you’ll enjoy a selection of traditional Sicilian specialties carefully chosen to enhance the flavors of the wines:

  • Bruschette topped with sun-dried tomato pâté, green olive pâté, and local extra virgin olive oil with oregano.
  • Local cheeses such as “Primo Sale” from the Salemi area, accompanied by green olives and traditional caponata.
  • To end on a sweet note, artisan biscuits are served with the golden Passito, creating a delightful harmony of textures and aromas.

Each product tells a story of local artisanship, sustainable agriculture, and timeless recipes that have been passed down for generations. Your guide will explain how the wines are produced, how they pair with Sicilian cuisine, and share anecdotes that bring the island’s rich culture to life.

Accessibility and comfort are key: wheelchair users are welcome, and dogs are allowed if kept in a carrier when entering the tasting area. Families are invited to join — children under 8 years old participate for free and can enjoy local non-alcoholic products.
