Day 1 : Delhi to Khajuraho by Train – Arrival & Evening Temple Visit.

Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Delhi and transfer to the railway station to board your express train to Khajuraho, one of India’s most iconic heritage destinations.

On arrival, our local representative will greet you at the station and assist with hotel check-in. After some rest, step into the world of the Khajuraho Group of Monuments (UNESCO World Heritage Site), built by the Chandela dynasty between the 9th and 12th centuries. In the evening, enjoy a guided tour of the Western Group of Temples, the most celebrated cluster, including:

  • Kandariya Mahadeva Temple – the largest and most intricate temple in Khajuraho, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  • Lakshmana Temple – admired for its beautifully detailed carvings of deities, apsaras, and mythical creatures.
  • Devi Jagadambi Temple – with sculptures that combine spiritual and artistic themes.

These temples are renowned worldwide for their fine stone carvings, sensuous sculptures, and masterful architecture.

Day 2 : Panna National Park Safari & Khajuraho Temples.

Rise early and set out for an adventurous jungle safari at Panna National Park, a celebrated tiger reserve located along the Ken River. The park is home to tigers, leopards, wild dogs, antelopes, crocodiles, and over 200 species of birds. Its diverse landscape of gorges, forests, and waterfalls offers a thrilling experience for wildlife lovers and photographers alike.

Return to Khajuraho for breakfast and continue your heritage exploration with a guided visit to the Eastern and Southern Group of Temples. These include:

  • Parsvanatha Jain Temple (Eastern Group) – the largest Jain temple in Khajuraho, famous for its intricate carvings of celestial beings, musicians, and dancers.
  • Adinath Temple – known for its blend of Jain and Hindu iconography.
  • Duladeo Temple (Southern Group) – dedicated to Lord Shiva, featuring carvings of celestial maidens (apsaras).
  • Chaturbhuj Temple – unique for housing a striking 9-foot high image of Lord Vishnu.

Day 3 : Khajuraho to Orchha via Jhansi – Forts & Palaces.

After breakfast, drive towards Jhansi, a city immortalized by the bravery of Rani Lakshmibai, the legendary Queen of Jhansi. Visit the historic Jhansi Fort, perched on a hilltop with ramparts, gateways, and palace ruins that speak of the queen’s valiant resistance against the British during the 1857 uprising.

Continue your journey to Orchha, a charming riverside town on the banks of the Betwa River, dotted with palaces, temples, and cenotaphs. Explore the Orchha Fort Complex, a blend of Mughal and Rajput architecture. Highlights include:

  • Jahangir Mahal – built to honor Emperor Jahangir’s visit, known for its symmetrical design, balconies, and grand gateways.
  • Raj Mahal – adorned with colorful murals depicting scenes from Hindu mythology.
  • Ram Raja Temple – a unique temple where Lord Rama is worshiped as a king, with ceremonial guard of honor.
  • Laxminarayan Temple – combining fort and temple architecture, celebrated for its frescoes depicting mythological, historical, and social themes.

Enjoy the serene charm of Orchha with an evening stroll along the Betwa River and admire the scenic Chhatris (cenotaphs) of Orchha’s kings.

Day 4 : Orchha to Delhi by Train – Leisure & Departure.

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast in the peaceful town of Orchha. You may take a short morning walk by the Betwa River, revisit the temples, or browse the local markets for souvenirs and handicrafts.


Later, transfer to Jhansi Railway Station to board your train back to Delhi. On arrival, our driver will drop you at your preferred location (hotel or airport), marking the end of your 4 - days journey through Khajuraho’s temples, Panna’s wildlife, Jhansi’s bravery and Orchha’s royal heritage.
