Day 1 : Aurangabad – Panchakki, Lonar Crater & Mini Taj Mahal.
- Morning : Pick-up and Visit to Panchakki Your private driver will pick you up from your desired location in Aurangabad. You will begin your tour with a visit to Panchakki or the 'Water Mill'. This ingenious 17th-century water mill was designed to generate energy from a nearby spring to grind grain for pilgrims. The site also houses a beautiful mosque and a tranquil garden, providing a serene start to your tour.
- Late Morning : Drive to Lonar Crater After exploring Panchakki, you will begin your journey towards the magnificent Lonar Crater, a geological wonder formed by a meteorite impact over 50,000 years ago. The drive to Lonar is approximately 3-4 hours, taking you through the scenic landscapes of rural Maharashtra.
- Afternoon : Exploring the Crater Lake Upon arrival, you'll be captivated by the unique, saline and alkaline waters of Lonar Lake. Descend into the crater to explore the surrounding temples and soak in the serene, otherworldly atmosphere. Your guide will share the history and scientific significance of this remarkable site, a National Geo-heritage Monument. You'll visit ancient temples like the Daityasudan Temple, known for its intricate carvings and architectural beauty.
- Evening : Return to Aurangabad and Visit Bibi Ka Maqbara After a day of exploration, you will begin your return journey to Aurangabad. In the late afternoon, you'll visit the stunning Bibi Ka Maqbara, often referred to as the "Mini Taj." This mausoleum was built by Prince Azam Shah, son of Emperor Aurangzeb, in memory of his mother. Admire its Mughal architecture and striking resemblance to the Taj Mahal. Your day concludes as your driver drops you back at your hotel in Aurangabad.
Day 2 : A Step Back in Time at the Ajanta Caves.
- Morning : Drive to Ajanta Caves After an early breakfast, your driver will take you on a scenic 2-hour drive to the world-renowned Ajanta Caves. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a series of 30 Buddhist rock-cut caves carved into a horseshoe-shaped cliff overlooking the Waghora River.
- Mid-Day : Discovering Ancient Buddhist Art Ajanta Caves is a masterpiece of ancient Indian art and architecture. Spend the day exploring the Viharas (monasteries) and Chaityas (prayer halls), marveling at the beautifully preserved frescoes and murals. The paintings, which date from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 CE, depict the Jataka tales and other stories from the life of the Buddha, showcasing a level of artistry that is truly breathtaking.
- Evening : Return to Aurangabad After a comprehensive tour of the caves, you will drive back to Aurangabad, with time to relax and reflect on the incredible artistry and history you've witnessed.
- Note : The Ajanta Caves are closed on Mondays. The itinerary will be adjusted accordingly if your tour falls on a Monday.
Day 3 : The Architectural Marvels of Ellora Caves.
- Morning : Visit the Ellora Caves Today, you will be driven to the Ellora Caves, another UNESCO World Heritage Site located just 30 km from Aurangabad. Unlike Ajanta, Ellora is a unique complex of 34 caves representing thre different faiths : Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism.
- Mid-Day : Exploring the Rock-Cut Temples The highlight of your Ellora visit will be the spectacular Kailasa Temple (Cave 16). This colossal monolithic structure is carved from a single rock and is an architectural marvel dedicated to Lord Shiva. Spend time exploring the detailed sculptures and intricate carvings that depict mythological stories. You will also visit the other caves, each with its distinct style and religious significance.
- Afternoon : Visit Daulatabad Fort and Departure On your way back to Aurangabad, you'll stop to visit the formidable Daulatabad Fort. This 12th-century hill fortress is a testament to clever defense engineering, with its complex series of moats, fortified walls, and winding passages designed to confuse invaders.
- After exploring the fort and enjoying panoramic views, you will be dropped off at your desired location in Aurangabad, concluding your memorable 3 - days private tour.
- Note : The Ellora Caves are closed on Tuesdays. The itinerary will be adjusted accordingly if your tour falls on a Tuesday.

Know before you go
- We suggest you to wear sleeper because at many points you will need to remove your shoes therefore we request you to wear sleepers.
