Delhi to Varanasi and Sarnath Day Trip by Air with Boat Ride, Guided Tour & Entry Tickets

Guest will be pick up from Delhi at their desire place, Then transfer to the Delhi airport for an early morning flight to Varanasi. 

Arrive in Varanasi : Upon arrival at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi (usually around 8:00 AM), you will be greeted by your tour guide. Proceed for a quick breakfast if needed.

After, Drive to Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Explore Dhamek Stupa, Chaukhandi Stupa, Ashoka Pillar and the Sarnath Archaeological Museum (on Friday Closed).

Late Morning : During your Varanasi tour, we will visit the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which is situated deep within the old city. Due to its location and strict security measures, please be aware that navigating the narrow streets and security checks can take up to two hours. This unique setting, however, also provides a wonderful opportunity to explore the vibrant old city and its bustling local market. Afterward, we will proceed to the unique Gopal Mandir & Bharat Mata Temple, which features a remarkable relief map of India carved in marble.

Afternoon – Lunch & BHU Visit : Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant (optional) before a short visit to Banaras Hindu University (BHU), one of Asia’s most renowned educational institutions and explore the New Vishwanath Temple located within its campus.

Late Afternoon – Boat Ride on the Ganges : Embark on a peaceful boat ride along the sacred Ganges River. Pass by iconic ghats such as Dashashwamedh Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat and Assi Ghat each with its own spiritual and cultural importance.

Evening – Ganga Aarti : As dusk falls, witness the spellbinding Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat. Priests perform this divine ritual with fire lamps, incense, and chanting, creating a truly unforgettable spiritual atmosphere.

Night – Return to Delhi : After the ceremony, transfer to Varanasi Airport for your flight back to Delhi. On arrival, you will be met and driven to your chosen location in Delhi, concluding your enriching same-day journey.
