8-Day St. James´ Way From Santiago to Muxia

Description

This Camino program takes pilgrims from Santiago de Compostela to Cape Fisterra and Muxía, following a route filled with history, nature, and inspiring coastal landscapes. From Santiago’s cathedral and the scenic crossing at Ponte Maceira, the journey continues through oak and chestnut forests, challenging ascents like Monte Aro, and peaceful riverside paths. Reaching the coast at Cee, travelers enjoy their first views of the Atlantic before walking through fishing villages such as Corcubión on the way to Fisterra, renowned for its legendary sunsets. The Camino then extends toward Lires and concludes in Muxía, home to the iconic Virxe da Barca sanctuary.
