Group York Cocoa Works Chocolate Manufactory Experience

Join us at York Cocoa Works with your group to enjoy a little bit of everything we do at York Cocoa Works: 

Explore the chocolate making process with this  lesson on how chocolate is made together with a hands-on lesson working with chocolate. Your group will learn how chocolate is made and craft your own chocolate treat.

During your visit our chocolate team will share the secrets how we transform cocoa into chocolate. You will discover our origins and learn the rich history of chocolate making in York before taking a peek into our manufactory and watching our chocolate being made. You will sample the chocolate we make from cocoa beans all around the world, experiencing the different strengths and flavour notes in our range before making your own chocolate treat.  

Our Group Chocolate Manufactory Experience is perfect for tour parties, large visitor groups, private networking evenings, school parties or learning groups catering for different tastes and interests, as everyone gets to make their own chocolate treat just the way they like!

Our Group Chocolate Manufactory Experience:

£17.50 per Adult

£15.50 per Senior Citizen  

£14.50 per Child (aged 5 - 16 years)

minimum number of participants: 6 (please see availability note below)  

maximum number of participants: 64 using 3 spaces**  

deposit to be paid - £50 for all group sizes**

Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour

Availability: 

Our Manufactory Chocolate Experience is available on weekdays for groups from 6 to 11 participants at 11am and 3.30pm

After our usual operating hours for groups of a minimum of 24 participants

Please note that we have limited weekend availability, we can cater for small groups of up to 11 at 11am and 3.30pm subject to availability. 

Larger groups may be subject to minimum per head spend of £25 per person to include refreshments as part of your experience. Please contact our team or view our other available activities for options. 

Special Dietary Requirements:

At York Cocoa Works looking after our chocolate loving guests is one of our most important priorities. We believe the chocolate industry should be open and transparent so our guests can make informed choices. We therefore want to ensure that we are able to cater for all of our visitors, whatever their needs. This workshop is accessible to most dietary requirements but we appreciate you sharing any details of specific needs that you or participants in your party have when booking.
