Day 1: Into the Wild

  • Hotel Pickup (Approx. 7:30 AM)
    Your journey begins bright and early with a convenient pick-up from your hotel. Exact pickup times will be emailed prior to the trip.
  • Phang Nga Elephant Park Visit
    First stop—an inspiring visit to the Phang Nga Elephant Park, one of the most ethical and well-regarded elephant sanctuaries in the region. Here, you’ll meet these gentle giants in a natural, caring environment. Learn about their stories and conservation efforts, and enjoy a heartwarming encounter that will leave you with lasting memories. A delicious Thai lunch will be served to keep your energy up for the adventures ahead!
  • Check-in at a Scenic Resort near Khao Sok National Park
    After lunch, we continue to your accommodation—an oasis of calm nestled in the jaw-dropping landscape near Khao Sok National Park. With its towering limestone cliffs and lush jungles, it feels like stepping into another world.
  • Afternoon Options: Kayaking, Tubing, or Pure Relaxation
    Once settled in, the choice is yours! Paddle down the serene river in a kayak, feeling the peace of the jungle surround you.
    Tube along the cool waters, letting the gentle current guide you past scenic views.
    Or, if you prefer, simply relax at the resort, sipping on a refreshing drink while soaking in the stunning vistas.

Day 2: The Jewel of Cheow Lan Lake

  • Breakfast & Early Start (7:30 AM)
    Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy a hearty breakfast to kickstart the day. At around 7:30 AM, we’ll head out for the ultimate highlight of the trip—a boat tour on the mystical Cheow Lan Lake.
  • Cheow Lan Lake Exploration
    Prepare to be amazed by the otherworldly beauty of this emerald lake, often compared to scenes from Avatar. Glide across the water surrounded by towering limestone cliffs, hidden caves, and unspoiled wilderness as far as the eye can see. The tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking landscapes are like nothing you've ever seen before.
  • Floating Restaurant & Authentic Thai Lunch
    As we explore, we’ll stop at a unique floating restaurant and resort, where an authentic Thai lunch awaits. Savor the flavors of Thailand while soaking in panoramic views of the lake. There’s time to swim, paddle, or simply relax in this serene paradise before we journey back.
  • Return Journey Through Phang Nga Province
    After a morning of lake adventures, it’s time to head back to Phuket. The 2.5-hour return van journey takes you through the stunning landscapes of Phang Nga Bay National Park, offering one final glimpse of Thailand’s incredible natural beauty.

Know before you go

Dress for a day at the beach.

  • Hotel towel
  • Swimwear, as we have a swim stop at the lake. It is also a good idea to bring a set of dry clothes in case it rains to keep warm and dry.
  • Cash or credit card if you have a balance owing.  You are welcome to tip the Thai crew as you wish.  CASH WILL BE NEEDED FOR THIS.
  • Sunscreen
  • Camera
  • Light shoes (sandals, flip-flops, or thongs)
  • Reusable water bottle.  As a green initiative, Simba does not use single-use plastics. Drinking water and cups are provided on board our tours.
