Norteña Cooking Class

Description

The Northwest Andes was where most of the population was concentrated prior to Argentine Independence. It has a unique cuisine that fuses colonial era criollo’ cuisine (mix of African, Indigenous, and Spanish cuisine). We’re going to learn some dishes that incorporate Andean ingredients (corn, pumpkin, etc) and talk about the peculiarities of regional empanadas.

Pair this experience with wine and vermut, plus, try a picada with goat cheese, olives and traditional sweets and dessert made by our cook!
