The visiting schedule may be amended in accordance with the Edinburgh Port your ship docks at. However all aspects of the tour are covered, regardless of docking/tendering port
After meeting our Official guide at the port, we join our air-conditioned coach and set off for our 1st visit - Our first stop is the Royal Yacht Britannia (optional entry)

On to Edinburgh Castle – sitting majestically overseeing the beautiful city Of Edinburgh, full of history and a great photo opportunity. If you wish to tour the castle please reserve the Shore Excursions, and we will email you a link to purchase your tickets.

Then on to the historic Palace of Holyrood House - the official residence of the King in Edinburgh and steeped in Royal history. Another opportunity for some great photos, and for our guide to inform you of the history of the Palace.

Stroll along the famous Royal Mile, The Royal Mile is a succession of streets forming the main thoroughfare of the Old Town of the city, It is a one-mile cobbled and paved road that links Edinburgh Castle at its top to Holyrood Palace at its bottom. The Mile’s role as a vibrant hub for festivals, events, and cultural experiences makes it a living museum of Scotland’s past and present. The Royal Mile is Edinburgh’s most famous street.
Time for a bite to eat and refreshments (not included)

See St Giles cathedral; the Scottish Parliament building as well as an opportunity to discover the alleys running along the Royal Mile

Your local guide will keep you informed throughout the day
Ample stops for takin in the sights, a refreshment or comfort break, before returning to the port to re-join your ship.
