Skagway: Glacier Helicopter Tour with Shared Small Group

Description
Leave all traces of civilization behind and experience the infinite beauty of Alaska's remote glaciers. Walk to the heliport, watch a safety video, and get outfitted with glacier boots that go over your footwear. Then, board the helicopter and take off from the historic Skagway waterfront.
Head into a rugged region of sheer mountains, majestic valleys, and massive glaciers. Flight routes and landing zones are selected daily based on the weather forecast to ensure that you will see the best sights that the area has to offer.
Jagged peaks towering over the Chilkat Glacier, cascading waterfalls surrounding the Ferebee Glacier, or the spectacular "river of ice" known as the Meade Glacier, may be among the wonders you will encounter in your 40 minutes, round trip, of helicopter time.
Once you have reached your glacial destination, enjoy a walking exploration of the river of ice, while experienced glacier guides answer your questions and explain the awesome forces at work below your feet. With another 40 minutes on the glacier, you have plenty of time to wander, snap some pictures, and revel in the beauty.
Your final excursion voucher with comprehensive Meeting Instructions will be issued 4 weeks before your excursion date.
