Ketchikan: Misty Fjords Seaplane Transfer Shared Small Group

Description
Begin your adventure with a convenient pickup from the cruise ship dock in Ketchikan. Head to the floatplane dock and board a DeHavilland Beaver or Otter, piloted by a highly trained bush pilot. Take off and soar over the Misty Fjords National Monument, part of the vast Tongass National Forest, the largest intact rainforest in America. Enjoy an eagle's eye view of the fjords, carved by glaciers 17,000 years ago, with cliff faces rising thousands of feet. Listen to the pilot's narration through individual headsets as you fly over this breathtaking landscape. Depending on the weather, you may see New Eddystone Rock and Big Goat Lake to the south or Neets Bay and Bell Island Hot Springs to the north. After your flight, return to the floatplane dock and be transported back to the cruise ship terminal in downtown Ketchikan. Your final excursion voucher with comprehensive Meeting Instructions will be issued 4 weeks before your excursion date.
