South Coast Iceland Day Tour – Small Group Experience

Description
Discover Iceland’s Most Breathtaking Sights in One Day
This full-day tour takes you along the stunning South Coast of Iceland—home to some of the country’s most iconic natural landmarks. Traveling in a small group with a professional guide, you’ll visit powerful waterfalls, walk on black volcanic beaches, and view glacier landscapes—all in one unforgettable day.
Start with a visit to Seljalandsfoss, a waterfall you can walk behind (weather permitting), and continue to the hidden gem Gljúfrabúi, tucked away in a narrow canyon. Next, stop at Skógafoss, one of Iceland’s largest waterfalls, where rainbows are often visible on sunny days.
At Sólheimajökull Glacier, take a short walk to admire the icy terrain from up close (no glacier hiking involved). Then head to Reynisfjara, a world-famous black sand beach known for its basalt columns and crashing waves.
You’ll stop for lunch in the village of Vík, the southernmost town in Iceland, with views of the surrounding cliffs and sea stacks. After lunch, the journey returns to Reykjavík, passing through the same stunning coastal scenery.
Throughout the day, your guide will share insights into Iceland’s geology, culture, and folklore, making the experience both fun and informative.
