The National Park (with the booth where you must pay) starts 1.5km from harbour of Rijeka Crnojevica. Paddling time to booth is roughly 90mins one-way, before that you already pass the 2 old bridges in 1 hour usually - so you need to buy a National Park ticket only if you paddle longer than that 90 mins one way.
Know before you go
It's good advice to bring a hat because it gets windy especially in the the cold season.
As well sun cream and some water
And maybe Swimwear and towels.
And a good idea might be a strap to secure your sunglasses from falling into water.
