1. Arrival in Pienza (11:15)

Founded in the 15th century by Pope Pius II, who wanted to transform his hometown into an example of an ideal Renaissance city, Pienza is known for its well-preserved Renaissance architecture.

The city features narrow cobblestone streets, picturesque squares, and beautiful historic buildings, such as the Cathedral of Pienza and the Piccolomini Palace.

In addition to its stunning architecture, Pienza is also famous for its pecorino cheeses, especially the aged pecorino, which is one of the most beloved Italian cheeses. Visitors can taste and purchase local cheeses at various shops and dairies in Pienza.

The city also offers breathtaking views of the Tuscan landscape, with green hills, vineyards, and olive groves stretching out to the horizon. Strolling through the streets of Pienza and enjoying the natural beauty around is a truly charming experience.

3. Arrival in Montalcino (2:30 pm)

Explore the medieval charm of Montalcino through the city's narrow streets. Highlighted by its imposing fortress, the Castle of Montalcino, which offers incredible panoramic views of the wine region. A charming destination for those seeking an authentic experience in Tuscany, combining history, stunning landscapes, and of course great wine.

2. Castello Banfi Winery - tour and tasting (3:45 pm)

Located in the hills of Montalcino, Castello di Banfi is a true treasure of Italian winemaking. During your tour, you will explore the rich history of the property, its extensive vineyards, and the fascinating cellars that hold secrets from generations. The experience culminates in a tasting of four exceptional labels, allowing you to appreciate the complexity and character of the region's wines. An invitation to live authentic moments, amidst stunning views and a passion for oenology.

6. Return with arrival at (7:30 pm) - We will conclude our tour where you prefer: At your Hotel or Piazzale Michelangelo for a beautiful sunset, or at Florence's largest shopping center, I Gigli.
