The IOWA Experience + President's Tour

Description
Walk in the Footsteps of Presidents on the Battleship of Presidents
In November 1943, the Battleship USS Iowa carried President Franklin D. Roosevelt across the Atlantic on a top-secret mission to the Casablanca and Tehran Conferences — a pivotal moment in shaping the outcome of World War II. During this historic journey, the ship survived a near-disastrous friendly fire incident and became the only U.S. Navy vessel whose crew was ever "arrested" and then officially pardoned by a sitting President.
This exclusive guided tour takes you behind the scenes to explore areas not accessible on the standard self-guided route. You’ll visit the world-famous Captain’s Cabin, outfitted with the only bathtub ever installed on a Navy warship — built specifically for FDR. Along the way, you’ll uncover little-known stories of diplomacy, naval history, and life aboard one of America's most iconic ships.
Your ticket also includes full access to the Battleship IOWA Experience, a self-guided exploration through five decks of interactive exhibits, sailor stories, and the family-favorite Vicky the Dog scavenger hunt.
Due to limited tour availability, reservations are required in advance. Accessible routes are available by request.
