1. Arrival in Bolgheri (10:30 am)

The center of Bolgheri is a true refuge of charm and authenticity. With its narrow streets and stone pavements, the village evokes a medieval atmosphere, where time seems to pass more slowly.

The small shops and ateliers in the center are an invitation to discover local art, with ceramic pieces, paintings, and crafts reflecting the tradition and culture of the region.

You will also find in Bolgheri "the perfume" that bears the name Bolgheri and its various unique and striking fragrances.

1. Enoteca Wine Sassicaia - Tasting and full lunch (12:30 pm)

The most prestigious wine in the region, it is also one of the most iconic and respected in the world.

Produced at the renowned Tenuta San Guido winery in Bolgheri, this super Tuscan is not just a drink, but a story of excellence, tradition, and terroir.

During the tasting of Sassicaia and 2 other exceptional wines from Tenuta San Guido (Le Difese and Guidalberto), 5 courses will be served including appetizers, first course, second course, dessert, coffee... etc.

Afterwards, you can buy your authentic Sassicaia directly from the producer's Enoteca to take home.

1a. Characteristics of Sassicaia

When tasting Sassicaia, you will be enveloped by its complex aromas, starting with notes of ripe red fruits like cherries and raspberries, followed by subtle hints of dried herbs, spices, and a light background of tobacco, revealing the depth and sophistication of the wine. On the palate, it presents itself with fine and balanced tannins, combining smoothness and structure, with a long and elegant finish that leaves a lasting sense of pleasure.

The tasting experience goes beyond simple drinking. Alongside an expert, you will be guided through each nuance of the wine, learning about the unique terroir of Tuscany, the impact of climate, soil, and aging, which give Sassicaia its incomparable quality. Each sip is an opportunity to understand the perfect balance between Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, the varieties that make up this world-class wine.

2. Arrival at Contadino di Wine Bolgheri DOCG (4:00 pm)

Exclusively, we will visit a small local wine producer, with a family production of only 7,000 bottles a year of very high quality, where we can buy the bottle at wholesale price.

OBS: This producer is not open to the public, the purchase is made directly in the warehouse where the wine is stored and bottled, a rustic place, but it is an excellent opportunity to take home a Bolgheri DOCG (controlled and guaranteed designation of origin) wine for an exceptional price.

6. Return with arrival at (6:30 pm) - We will finish our tour wherever you prefer: At your Hotel or Piazzale Michelangelo for a beautiful sunset, or at Florence's largest shopping center, I Gigli.
