White Villages of Huelva private full day tour

Description
The Sierra de Huelva is located in the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche Natural Park and is one of the most beautiful natural areas in western Andalusia. It is famous for its pastures and Iberian pig farming, but also for a landscape where whitewashed villages nestle among the mountains.
The excursion begins with pickup from your hotel or apartment in Seville. From there, we travel to Almonaster la Real to enjoy one of the most interesting villages in the region. The ancient Almohad mosque is very unique and located in a privileged setting, being the oldest in the Iberian Peninsula. We continue to Alajar to discover the Peña de Arias Montano. The most magical place in the Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche is the Peña de Arias Montano, located in the municipality of Alájar, Huelva.
The regional pilgrimage, that of the Queen of the Angels, is held here every September. Centuries ago, the humanist and advisor to Philip II, Benito Arias Montano, lived here. He retired to such an unusual place for his status, believing in its telluric power.
Spring springs gush forth from the Peña de Arias Montano, offering one of the most magnificent views of the mountains.
We conclude the tour in Aracena, where we will discover the so-called "regionalist" architecture designed by Aníbal González, as well as enjoy mountain cuisine. We will also visit the famous Grutas de las Maravillas before returning to Seville.
