Paestum Day: visit to the dairy farm with lunch and entrance to the Archaeological Park

Description
Private transfer from Paestum FS station (or any other agreed meeting point) to a local dairy farm for a pleasant guided tour to discover the process of making buffalo mozzarella. Guests will visit a historic dairy farm where the buffalo breeding activity has been carried out for several generations with wisdom and passion. Here, various sizes of DOP buffalo mozzarella are produced daily. Guests will be guided through the dairy farm where they can witness the production of mozzarella according to the DOP regulations: from milk filtration to rennet addition to stretching. Guests will then be taken to the buffalo farm where they can see the breeding of buffaloes and calves. Finally, it will end beautifully with a tasting not only of mozzarella, ricotta, and cheeses made with buffalo milk but also excellent Cilento cured meats.
Tasting board with cured meats, cheeses, mozzarella, and ricotta made with buffalo milk, all accompanied by a glass of wine and a dessert to finish.
At the end of this convivial event, a transfer to the archaeological area of the Paestum excavations and museum is planned, where it will be possible to visit the entire area independently with an entrance ticket.
