2 hour Alfama Historical Tuk Tuk Tour (Private)

Description

Step into Lisbon’s oldest neighborhood and discover the city where it all began. This Alfama Tuk Tuk Tour blends epic views, narrow alleys, and centuries of stories—all told by a native "alfacinha" who knows every curve of these cobblestone streets.

We begin at Restauradores Square, where the city's grand avenues meet old-world charm, and head straight into Alfama’s labyrinth of history. Visit the 12th-century Sé Cathedral, built after the Christian conquest, still standing proud and weathered by time.

From there, we stop at Portas do Sol—the “Doors to the Sun”—for panoramic views over Alfama’s terracotta rooftops and the Tagus River. Then it's up to Senhora do Monte, Lisbon’s highest viewpoint and a peaceful escape with a skyline that stretches across the entire city.

We’ll cruise past the National Pantheon, home to Portugal’s most revered figures, and end the ride with a walking loop through Alfama’s tight-knit alleys—the birthplace of Fado, and a neighborhood that has survived quakes, kings, and centuries of change.

We can accommodate groups of up to 24 passengers with our fleet of Tuk Tuks. Hotel pickup also available; conditions and fees may apply. Contact us directly for groups of 6 or more or custom requests.
