Snowmobile safari with ice-fishing adventure in Levi
Description
Experience the thrill of snowmobiling and the calm of traditional Arctic ice fishing – all in one unforgettable adventure. This family-friendly tour combines excitement, nature, and a taste of Lapland culture, perfect for anyone looking to make the most of their winter holiday in Levi.
You'll ride your snowmobile along winding forest trails through snowy landscapes, heading toward a peaceful taiga lake tucked deep in the wilderness. There, your local guide will help you drill a fishing hole through the thick ice and provide all the gear and expert tips you need to try your luck at ice fishing, a favorite winter pastime in Lapland. Your guide will serve you a hot drink and a light snack, while you enjoy the quiet beauty of the Arctic wilderness.
The tour starts with a pickup from your accommodation and transfer to our safari house. There, you’ll gear up with thermal equipment: a snowmobile suit, boots, mittens, helmet, balaclava, and woolen socks — all designed to keep you warm and dry.
Your guide will provide a safety briefing and driving instructions — and then you’re ready to hit the trail.

Know before you go
- Please take your driving license with you on the snowmobile safari as the police may check the validity of the license during the safari.
- We recommend wearing thermal body-wear + multilayer clothing and woolen socks. You will get warm outer clothing and boots before the safari.
- For those people who consider self-rental: out there you’ll be surrounded by almost total whiteness, so it’s quite easy to lose one’s way for the first time, that’s why to guarantee the quality time, we highly recommend for the first time to go on an organized safari with an experienced local guide.
