Northern Lights check by car, Levi
Description
This program increases your chances of spotting the Aurora by going outside Levi area (within maximum 50 km from Levi center).
We provide you with comfortable transportation with an experienced driver - either a minivan or minibus. We will be driving within 30-50 km around Levi for 2-hour time searching for unobstructed Northern hemisphere sky view and minimum light pollution and hoping to spot the Northern Lights.
Clouds can make it difficult to see the Northern Lights. Clouds can have different thickness, and wind can significantly change the cloud cover quickly, therefore sometimes even in cloudy weather, we still have chances of seeing the Lights or a glimpse of it through the opening in the sky and even through the clouds. It takes knowledge of the local weather, patience and pursuance. The driver will offer you a warm drink and ginger cookies during a stopover.

- Transportation: driving distance within 50 km from Levi, driving time 2 hrs (choose pick up from Scandinavian Travel Group / Safarimarket if you are unsure of your accommodation location)

Excluded
- Warm winter clothing, available only at Safarimarket pick-up location (Keskuskuja 2 B 3) and will not be delivered to other pick-up locations
Know before you go
We recommend wearing warm winter clothing. It can be rented separately before the departure at extra charge. If you want to rent the clothing, please be at least 20 min before pick up time to get dressed.
