Little Bear's winter trail - private tour (6 hrs)

Description
The Pieni Karhunkierros Trail (Little Bear's Trail) takes us to the southernmost part of Oulanka National Park. On this scenic day trail, you can admire the beautiful wilderness of Oulanka: the icy, gushing rapids, the steep snowy cliffs and the sheltered forests. Little Bear's Trail follows its big brother Big Bear's trail and shows you the best spots in the park. The snowshoe trail follows the shore of the river and goes to the middle of the wintery forest at times. In halfway we’ll put up a campfire and make some crepes by the fire. With good luck the Siberian Jays may come and greet us or we see otters playing on riverbanks. Remember your camera!
Length of snowshoe walking is 10 km and with transfers tour takes about 6 hours. The trail is moderate and suitable for everyone with normal condition and who is able to walk the same distance. There is one rather steep part, but we take it slowly and carefully. We cross two suspension bridges along the walk.
This is a private tour for 1-6 persons. Normal price is for 2 or more persons (adult or child). If you are coming alone, choose solo traveler's price.
