Description
Enter the polar arctic and enjoy winter in Lapland like a local Finn with the exciting snowmobile tour beyond the arctic circle. Then have a trek into the forest by snowshoes, and ending by a peaceful serenity of ice fishing.
Upon completion of safety instructions, your snowmobile guide will lead you towards the beautiful lake and forest. There, open your senses to the silence and snow-covered scenery full of excitement! During the time, stretch your legs and wake your body up with some snowshoeing action traversing through the virgin forests. Then, your guide will start a fire for the BBQ and prepare some grilled sausages and smoked salmon.
After lunch, it is time to relax and enjoy the peace when you settle down on your favourite fishing spot on the frozen lake. Don’t know how to ice fish? Worry not, your guide will show step-by-step instructions from drilling your own ice-hole, to using the special tools for thick ice, and of course some techniques for fishing. Then it is upon yourselves with some patience and luck.
Note: During the snowmobile safari, children under 140cm are travelling in the sledge pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. A child over 140cm could seat in the back of the snowmobile as a passenger with full adult payment.
For children too small to wear snowshoes, sledges (toboggans) will be provided.
