Barranquilla has many water bodies that make it a city rich in hydroelectric resources and also important in terms of biodiversity and environmental care. The Magdalena River, the most important river in our country, ends its long journey in the Caribbean Sea, right at Barranquilla’s borders. And besides, there are swamps and marshes around the city. Mallorquin Marsh is one of them. Around this place, there is an eco-park created to raise awareness among locals and foreigners about the ecosystem
